Very nice, delurker. Are you going with the same style wheels, just different sizes? Or new style all together?

And, I'm leaning towards a twin screw at the moment... likely the Saleen. But, I reserve the right to waffle again without prior notice.

I've started to look at the fr 500's 18x9 and the offset it 24 mm. Everything I've seen says the 2005 mustang needs a 25 mm offset minimum. I dont have much experience with wheels and im wondering if I may be able to get away with this?

With a 9" wheel, a better offset would be +45mm for the '05. I believe a 24mm offset would stick out of the wheel well probably 1/2 inch.

Thanks for all your replies guys and sorry for clogging up the forum with more wheel questions. I really just have no idea what works and what doesn't and need to run some things by ya'll.

I'm going with a set of these below. They look anthracite in the pic, but they're actually silver. Should arrive mounted & balanced with some BFG KDW-2's at my door tomorrow.

I almost installed the Saleen blower, but I'm going to see if the 3v 4.6 can hold up to a bit more than 400 crank hp (although I know you can change out the pulley for more power with it). I like the idea of instant power with the twin screw, but it's not like there's going to be any lag to worry about with a centrifugal blower - it's hard enough to hook up on a hard launch as it its.

delurker,

do you plan on selling the wheels/rims in the pic, I would be interested...where are you located?

those new wheels look great, good choice...I was thinking about going with 19" wheels but haven't pulled the trigger yet...

Have you lowered your coupe? How much?

Replied to your pm with the wheel/tire info and where I'm located (LA).

I lowered her about 1 1/4".
