Default questions for trufiber KR hood owners

Because the front intakes are channeled to feed air directly to the CAI, I am curious about what happens when it rains. Is there a channel that directs the water away from the CAI but lets the air go through?

I found a place on ebay called BMC motorsports that sells the hood for $699, is this a good vendor and is this a good price?

What is a fair price to prep and paint a hood?

Thanks for your thoughts guys.

from the underside shots i've seen, there are some drainage holes for accumulated water to drain.

The hoods themselves can be found cheaper elsewhere i think, its the free shipping that beats the other places

The Trufiber Venom Hood requires the GT500 front end. The GT-S & GT-S3 can be used with the stock GT front end.
