I'm actually pretty happy with having a 99% stock car. The only mods I have done was a Cervini Type 2 stylebar and a Steeda CAI (bought off of Craigslist for $125) and a SCT tuner Excal 2 (bought off of ebay for $200). I think long and hard before doing anything, period. I'm sure in the future I will add a few things more. I would love to get a Saleen Shakercharger, but it's not in the budget right now.

I will have to agree that this forum is very helpful.

I just put my stock mufflers back on the car. I put on an O/R Pipe and the sound was horrible with my axlebacks.

It will only be temporary while I figure out what I want to do with the exhaust. But keeping the stock parts around does help.

And on a side note I really like the IUP shift **** and kept it with my MGW.

At 1300 miles mine is basically stock yet. Will be putting it away for winter soon. By spring I want to add cold air kit, tuner, underdrive pulleys & maybe different wheels.

i returned part of my suspension parts to stock to get rid of some noise lol. About to get rid of these garbage tokico shocks for either bilsteins or stock and cut out my subframe connectors as well as remove the lower control arm relocation brackets lol. Can't take this rough ride and squeaks and rattles from the suspension and new york city roads

Other than to make sure that whatever car would get through inspection without difficulty, I don't think so. Ever. And that covers some major changes spread out over a pretty good sized chunk of time at this point.

Mostly that's because the mods that I choose to involve myself with are primarily NOT appearance-related and therefore are not subject to such influences like "peer pressure/that was yesterday's fad/maybe that really doesn't go with the rest of the car/etc.". Enough thought does go into whatever I'm about to get myself into, up front, that getting bored with it afterward is unlikely.

Been right so far (apologies to A.G.).
