I'll de-confusio you, YES!

Now, a couple of things on the predators, there are two models for our cars, U7140 for 05-06 and U7145 for 07+. Check that out before the swap. An U7140 won't work in a 07+ and back.

Second, newer firmware on the predators won't allow you to turn OBD codes related with the rear O2 (heaters, etc) off. But there is still a solution even so.

I paid $205 for an unlocked SCT Excal 2 off of EBAY. I would not pay more than that for that for an unlocked tuner that is compatable for your car. Bamachips has a special right now for $115 for three tunes. So my total was $320. For $380 I could have just bought a new one. Mine worked out OK so I was happy. If I had problems with the tuner it would have sucked. I would keep checking Craigslist for a CAI/tuner. I bought my Steeda for $125 with the Steeda elbow.

Sorry, but that is a lie. I had an SCT X2 from my Ford Ranger, I returned it to stock, Got new tunes from Bama (for free I might add), loaded them on to the tuner, then loaded the tunes on to the car. I don't know how different the predator is, but the SCT X2 does not need to be sent off to be unlocked.
