I am happy with the way they handles the situation. And I will prob order from them again. I am not trying to ruin any business or give them a bad rap. I was just saying my opinon. Wrong or right. I think they did a good job on fixing the mix up. From my first post I did not know Diablosport made the mistake. What really impresses me is that coolblue performance responded to this thread. That was a big plus in my book. I dont think I need a discount or any thing like that. I think the way coolblue handled this is very professional and yes they do have the best price that's why I ordered from them. I believe this matter is settled and have no regrets in dealing with them. Actually I will prob order a CAI from them. I really like the post that they are not a fly by night company, because alot out there are are and I was scared they were, but I was wrong.

If it is any consoloation they still have me as a customer.

On another note I hope I can fugure the Diablosport out.

As luck would have it brad recieved the wrong predator AGAIN!!!

We are having diablosport 2nd day air him the correct part........ getting a bit rediculous! Most of the 05 predators we sell are bundled with the C&L CAI which comes from C&L with a special tune in it for the new maf, air intake, and inlet pipe. We are going to buy a few of just the regular 05 predators when we can so this is ensure NOT to happen again....

I just received my Predator yesterday from another vendor. Since it was missing the C&L CAI part of the bundle, I didn't even open the box last night to check it out. Before I get all ready to intall it, is there an obvious way for me to tell if I got the right one? Thanks.

 

The c&l predator "should" have been in the box with the c&l CAI........ thats the only way they sell them.

C&L has a special predator with 2 tunes loaded into it one for 5 spd and one for an automatic. It has the tune for their air intake system included in the predator.

We sell the whole setup for 675 including maf, inlet pipe, air filter, and predator. It retails for over $750 I believe.

Now some people buy just the c&l intake system and then a REGULAR diablopredator. This is a problem C&L has been telling us about for a few weeks. Its "cheaper" for the vendor to purchase a predator from diablosport than to purchase it from c&l , however, it wont have the tunes in it.


My suggestion is turn it on and see if it has the 2 preloaded c&l tunes in it........... if not chances are you got a regular diablosport predator and you shouldnt have....

I already know I'll need to download the correct tune... I knew that when I bought it. My question goes back to Brad's original post... he said he got one for the 04 Mach, not the 05 GT. Is there a way to know that by just looking at it? Sorry if this is a dumb question... but it is still in the box at my house, so I can't visually check it out right now.

 

Part # U1470 is for the 05 mustang should be on the box U1476 is the other predator.


YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DOWNLOAD ANY TUNES!!!!!!!! THEY SHOULD ALREADY BE IN THE PREDATOR FROM C&L IF THEY ARE NOT THEN YOU DID NOT GET THE CORRECT PREDATOR FOR THE C&L PACKAGE.

You ordered the c&l kit. Should already have c&l custom tune installed on the predator at least thats how we get them from c&l
