Angry Lower Bumper Insert

So here I am, winding down my weekend by watching a little football, when I realize I'm out of soda at my place. So I decide to take a trip to the store. On my way, I'm driving down a pretty poorly lit street. I'm in the far right lane of a 4 lane road, when I see a raccoon crossing the street. He was in the lane next to me, and he stuttered a bit when he saw me. I figured that if I went into that lane and he froze or turned around, I'd hit him. So I stayed on course. So did he...

Well, I won the battle, but not without sustaining some damage. Got to the store and checked out the bumper. No damage, but the lower grill insert was gone. I drove back a few times, but couldn't find it (or the raccoon, oddly enough).

So long story short (too late) I need to get my hands on a replacement. Is there anyone that took off their stock GT bumper and would be willing to part with theirs? I'll pay for shipping, of course, and will give a little extra if need be.

Moral of the story, I should drink less soda...

look at it as a time to upgrade. If I had enough coin to put in the Agent 47 Lower Grille right now, I'd hook you up, but that's not going to happen for a while.

Yeah, wasn't really looking to upgrade right now. I actually like the stock front bumper! Maybe billet grill inserts (matching top and bottom, of course) could work...

Still would rather go the cheaper route and replace the lower insert.

Oh, and I drove by there again today. Saw little pieces of the insert everywhere, so at least I know it's fate now. Still don't know the fate of the raccoon though...

I had a similar run in with a large tire tread on the highway and also lost my lower grille. I ended up going to the dealer for a replacement at the cost of $60.00. To make matters worse I also lost my silverhorse racing inserts that I had just installed a week earlier as well and that cost me another $60.00.

Last winter, I bumped a pile of frozen plowed snow in my own driveway. It didnt budge. Cracked my lower airdam, broke the flimsy insert and plastic eggcrate, and when I backed out several hours later, a plastic shield from behind the lower grill grabbed a pile of snow blocking my driveway from the street plow and ripped off.
