Sirius radio
#11
There is more to the OEM setup than that. My Sirius module went out a week into ownership...and my car was int he shop for a full week with several guys troubleshooting. There is some kind of master/slave relation with the head unit and the Sirius module and they logged a heck of allot of time getting it sorted out.
This was not some hillbilly low volume dealer either...this is one of the oldest Ford dealers in the nation. They eventually got it sorted out.
So...be prepared for some grief.

Hey if anybody is interested I got a factory tuner that is up sale. It will work the sat button on the factory radio Ford radio. I bought the wrong one and I had to go buy another that works with the aux button. I mounted the new tuner on the inside of the kick plate on the passer side front, and mounted the antenna on the inside of my back window. I have no problems with it losing signal, and you don't notice it unless you look for it. Its way better than mounting it on the outside.

By the way I figured out how to install it, where to install the tuner and had it all installed in a matter of 30 minutes. The worst part was the clean up. Super easy if you use some common sense. If anyone needs any help just email me, I have installed about 30 different Satellite radios in cars so far.
