Devin - LOL! No offense taken bro... to be clear, I'm talking the TOTAL cost of buying the V6 + all the mods. I paid $11,500 for the car & added about $3,500 in mods = 15K.

As I posted, personally I'D get the GT cuz it's better overall deal... BUT this is an 18 year-old kid we're advising here... IMO the GT's power & speed may be too much for him @ his present level of "maturity".

The GT is awesome compared to the V6. I've got a 2000 V6 with an intake and gt exhaust with x pipes and headers. It sounds good, but it's slow as crap...

I'd give you good credit for admitting you have a lead foot. If you are smart enough to realize you'll drive like a jack@ss, just keep that in mind while driving. However I've found since I got the V8 there's a lot less reasons to show my car is fast. I've realized most people realize they are fast and try to get out of your way. Heck, the hooked up ricers down here won't even pull out in front of me Now that's RESPECT

go with the gt/cs or the one legion5 found. both are very nice rides. the gt/cs if you like the 2 tone interior and everyone loves the rear bumper diffuser.

You can't compare a 2000 v6 with an 05+ v6. The 4.0 engine responds to bolt ons much better than the 3.8 engine. 05+ v6 mustangs are running 14s in the quarter mile with just a cold air intake, tune, and exhaust.
