The backseats have been weighed in at 41 lbs., sufficient enough for me to say take 'em out! I plan to once I plan on never having anyone back there, as it is now I take some rear seat passengers from time to time.

If anyone knows where I can get a QUALITY cage fabricated and installed in New York / New Jersey area, (meeting NASA Competition Specs) I would appreciate it if you would pass on the info. Preferably a place someone here has used and can verify to the quality. -Thanks

It might be a little far but you could check out Phoenix Performance, north of Philly. They are one of the most respected race car builders in the country (road racing). http://www.phoenixperformance.net/

That Phoenix builds cars for folks like John Heinricy, Andrew Aquilante, Joe Aquilante, Don Knowles, and Jeff Altenberg ought to be recommendation enough.

I think they also did some work on the Steve Landstra/Frank Gonzales C6 for SCCA's Solo SS class.
