How did you get the map lights out, does it just pull down?
Afraid of breaking it, wanting to change the lights..

That's not exactly what I'd call a "hack" job. How is that a "nightmare" for a new owner?
It's 4 clips. I didn't use clips myself....I took an exacto blade and stripped some insulation off the wires, then soldered and taped. I'm sure it's much easier to undo clips if you wanted to uninstall them. If I would've had the clips...I would've used them. Much easier and quicker to install. Besides if I ever sell her...I'm talking all my **** off.

It's obvious you're an electrical guru of some sorts as you have all the wiring diagrams to everything ever made. But seriously, I'm guessing 99% of the peeps here would have used those clips. I thought your comment was harsh.
