Oh yea, those Insulation Displacement Connectors looks like a
wiring nightmare for the next owner. What a hack job to a perfectly good
virgin OEM wiring harness. I would not be proud of that and be posting
pics to boot. Thats wiring like you might get at CircuitCity.
After I saw the pic, I couldn't wait to see if you were going to post something about it.... lol
Not hatin, just showing you the error of your ways.
But is you are not up to learnin the right way, cant
help ya. Just go on thru life doing things wrong and
see where it gets you in the long run.

I can see where hes coming from. I let best buy install my head unit in my 92 corolla before i got the stang and before i knew anything about cars. Within 2 years I had to rewire everything and reinstall everything because of those same crappy connectors that you used. It probably didnt help that they didnt even mount any of my speakers or head unit, they just laid them behind the dash and screwed the dash back in hoping that the dash would hold everything in place.....
I do appreciate the write up though! If you get some free time, you should solder those connections. If you haven't done it before, its actually kind of fun. I just spent an hour yesterday resoldering all the connections to my sister's subwoofer amplifier because somehow she managed to roll the thing upside down and rip all the wires to shreds.
