Default Interceptor scan gauges

Is it necessary to hook up the power wires for Interceptor scan gauges or does the ODB port power them on our S197s? Mine will not scan or stay on. Help??

it gathers power from the OBD but if you are going to use their 3bar MAP sensor for vacuum or boost your going to need to tap into a 5v source for that, than plug the sensor into the analog port on the back of the gauge. it's super easy and works really well.

also make sure all your connections are tight and let the gauge warm up, it takes a few seconds to start up than you have to set it up.

OK. I guess I have it hooked up correct. I just can not get it to stay powered and scan. It shuts down. I dont think I have it programed to scan anything that is not supported. What gives?

haha thanks for the compliment, and gunner dog, are you turning the car all the way on? or just to the on position, because the gauge only stays on if it is getting readings from the OBD port
