s197 Tires

No, I have never done a burnout, and I don't intentionally go for wheelspin leaving a stop. Yes, I keep an eye on inflation and alignment.
Let's just say that I never met a corner I didn't like or feel a challenge from . . . in any of my cars.
Edit: TireRack, Discounttiredirect, and Vulcantire are my usual tire sources, roughly in that order.

When it comes to buying your tires (or anything else), just do your homework. Once you decide what you want, get a few of the best internet prices you can and then go local and ask them to beat it. I find most local shops that want your business will equal or beat whatever you found and/or will toss in something tempting. Just be sure to talk to the manager and not some tech or desk clerk.
As far as mileage from a tire, I've had it both ways. A majority of 40,000 mile tires aren't worth squat at 30,000 and others still strong near 50,000. Lot's of variables...
