The window switch is programmable so that you can set the RPM to "open the window" and then set the next RPM to "". Mine is set so that the window opens at 2600 rpm - the WOT signal is blocked by the switch until it sees that RPM. It then shuts at 6000 rpm for the shift (i.e. the switch blocks the signal again).

Even if the engine is at 2600 rpm, unless the the system detects WOT it won't turn on still.

The Zex window switch can also be programmed so that it won't start the spray until you hit second gear, it ignores the first 2600, and then triggers when you hit it the second time by reading it as the shift to second happened once you went by the window open rpm twice.

Is the window settings for drag race use only or dose it lock out first gear nos completely . ( great for street use also ) not that I would do that

When you arm the system you can set it to lock out from spraying until you pass the open window twice. Once you pass it though and trigger it will be armed until you turn it off again. So yes, I'd say it is for the track. A friend has his set so that he can arm the system, do a burnout, launch, and then spray in second gear (has to pass the open twice and sprays the third time he passes it).

Nitrous isn't really for street/daily driving use and in many states it isn't legal to have it turned on while on the street.
