Default Why does something always go wrong?

For me, it seems like something goes wrong with every mod! No matter how perfect my plans are, something always has to happen...

Exhaust- Poor installation by a muffler shop the first time.

Xcal 2- Was sent to me locked so I had to pay SCT $150 to unlock it.

GT rear bumper and rockers- 2 trips to Home Depot

Agent 47 mirrors- Poor paint job by local shop

...and now to top it off my new GT500 spoiler from the spoiler store looks pretty bad. There aren't any scratches, but when I looked at it closely the paint looked hazy and uneven in areas. It looks perfect in the shade but in sun light it's horrible. I think it's because Alloy has so many metallic flakes. Looks like I'll be sending it back for a new one hopefully...I'm really mad because the spoiler looked so good on the car

This ever happen to anyone else?

The same thing happened to victoriarr when she got her spoiler. She went through three different ones before one looked ok. Hopefully you dont have to go through three.

I hate to say it, but you might be the new Murphy.

Well, at least you're doing the right thing by doing everything right

Hang in there man!

Dang, my replacement better be freaking flawless. There's no way I can handle any more trouble with mods. I better pray the 8.8 rear works out...

I'm feelin ya...

Hood from Cervini - body shop had issues with bubbling under gel coat. Spent a lot in labor to get that fixed. Not perfect now, but only has a couple problem areas visible with VERY close inspection

Silverhorse Racing Louvers - prepainted with the worst orange peel I've ever seen.

C&L CAI - bought used and didn't know not to use stock screws in the MAF housing. Broke a screw off in there and had to buy a replacement MAF housing & screws.

FRPP Stingers - drone city

Tune from bamachips - 87 tune killed torque and 30% of mpg. 1st fix only kinda sucked. 2nd fix has mpg back to stock. Don't know if it performs better than stock or not. Will get a dyno tune after....

Will attempt Bassani Longtube header install tomorrow with a friend who is a pretty good backyard mechanic. FINGERS CROSSED!!

Never plan on it going right! Always plan on crap happening, taking longer then they say, carry extra bandages, tools, beer, and have a second vehicle ready to drive if you can't finish it in one day.

Same exact thing for me! One screw is in there fine, but the other broke off so I zip tied the other half of the MAF onto the CAI...
