Why does something always go wrong?
i feel for the OP and everyone else on headache mods.. my street scene speed grille was a pain to install and not what i had expected at all. i think my left fog light is still aimed a little off too, it shines a little brighter than the right.

Same problems, different cars, if it was easy, anybody could do it. Watch people in "AWE" of the end result makes it all worth while.
Parked at restraunt Saturday night, waiting to be seated, saw some activity around my car (way out in the far end on the lot) went to scope it out, 2 guys and girls taking pictures. Kinda gave me a warm fuzzy.

imo, it's all part of the game. modding is not an exact science and things will (likely) not go as smoothly as planned. it's the price of admission in order to create a car that's faster, better handling and more unique than what you can find on the showroom floor. sounds to me like this is the first foray into modding for some people in this thread. all I can say is, it won't get any easier and each new mod will (likely) have it's issue, or set of issues. just suck it up and enjoy the fruits of your heartache.
you guys ever the one about the guy who installed an 8" antenna and didn't understand why it wasn't as flexible as the stock one? LOL. guy was pissed when he broke it.
