Question Help (Tips) Please - Tail and parking light removal

Getting tail, parking, marker and third brake light blacked out. I need to remove them all tonight.

Any tips, comments, tools required or general advice on any of these lights to make this go smoother and prevent me from snapping or braking something.

Thanks in advance!!!

Open trunk, take out bottom carpet.

There's a plastic cover on the inside of the car held in with about six plastic screws.

Now I don't worry about details so I just kinda pulled/pushed the plastic cover and the screws popped out.

I broke one but I don't cry over stuff like that.

Anyways, once the cover is out there's three nuts on each of the tail lights that need to be taken off.

That's it. Once they're off just push the bolts a bit from the inside and the tail lights pop out.

Twist the bulbs to release.

Yahtzee!

The search button is your friend. Take your time and you won't break anything. Use a piece of silverware to help with the push pins if necessary.

for the tailights you will have to remove the plastic piece in the trunk behind the tailights that is held in by four push pins and two plastics screw type things. underneath will be three nuts on each taillight and two of them arent visible unless you pull back the carpeting on the side. they are extremely easy to remove. just remove the three nuts and they pull out. make sure you un-clip the wiring harness though.

BTW: On the taillights ... be very careful after removing the 4 nuts ... have a towl or something soft handy because when you go to remove the tails there is a chance they will drop somewhat -- just enough to hit the top of your rear bumper and possibly scratching / scuffing it up.

Just FYI
