Default RWHP estimate question

I put my CAI on at the peak of $4 gas, and except for one tank of 93, I ran 89 because I was pissed about $4 gas.... lol. At the time, I didn't seem to feel a dif between the two, but I may have been influenced by not wanting to pay .30-.40 more gallon.

Anyway, went to Brenspeed during the fall dynoday and was a bit disappointed with my 275 rwhp number, thought it should have been better based on all the CAI raves. After the fact someone mentioned that I should have ran the 93 tune and would have been better numbers, so plan to do that at the spring dynoday. Unfortunately, it won't be a totally fair comparison since I have since added UDP's and will also be adding the H pipe sitting in the garage once I get my car out of winter storage.

Hopefully won't be disappointed, but maybe with the 93 tune, UDP's, and H pipe maybe another 20rwhp to 295??? What dif do you think just the 87 to 93 tune alone would have been?

BTW, the torque number was 295 I believe.

Actually at 275 with a CAI and tune your 275HP number is not bad. Maybe your car was one of the lower number cars from the factory and it is not uncommon to see 260 to the RW from a stock stang. I had 270 with my CAI and no tune (K&N). The RWTQ is a great number and I will est (guess) your new numbers after install of the other goodies at about 285 RWHP/300 RWTQ with said mods and a 93 octane tune....JMO and of course I low ball so if your higher it just feels better to know you gained more not less or break even with what you thought you would yield. The butt dyno is better IMO than any dyno to see if said mods help. Track times are an even better test of what the car is capable of doing.....again JMO.

I put down 290whp and 312wtq with just a C&L Street, Bama 91o race tune, Steeda UDP, and CMCV deletes.

I was going to say MAYBE 290 after the UDP's and with 93 octane tune IF the previous 275 was accurate.
