Then how do they lock it into 4th to stop it from downshifting?

They lock the car into that gear via the computer somehow....someone with and auto that has been dynod can tell you how exactly.

Yeah I questioned him about it and he said they are low but he doesn't know the cause. I'm wondering if maybe one of my cats blew out again and the piece is restricting flow or something. Both my cats blew out not too long ago for no reason. I'll bring that up to him but I'm pretty sure he would have noticed that especially since he replaced the cats to begin with.

Do you have emissions testing or just a visual check?

Pretty sure they hook up to your OBDII when they do it. I can always grease the wheels with a $50 if I fail lol.

Then what you do is take your cats, cut them in half and gut them. Then you weld them back around a 2 1/2 or 3" pipe (depending on your exhaust) and your ready to rock and roll

Since its an auto, did they adjust the tune to lock up the torque converter for the dyno pull? I saw a thread in the v6 section awhile back where somebody with an xcharged sixxer was getting low #s. Everybody seemed to think that the TC wasn't fully locking. On an auto, in order to get an accurate dyno reading, the tuner must set up the torque convertor so it will fully lock in fourth gear while on the dyno. Then after the dyno testing is done, your tuner will have to set your torque converter settings back to what they normally should be for street driving.
