So I was driving on the freeway this afternoon when I noticed the "O/D OFF" light was blinking. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with the transmission, but overdrive was not off and I'm not quite sure what would cause this. Hopefully my transmission isn't taking a crap on me, that's the last thing I need.

 

Mine did the same thing back in 05 I am not sure what caused it I will go back and check my service records and get back to you shortly if I can manage to find them.

 

Lets see if I can find 'flashing OD light' in the inline service manuals.

"The TCI will flash if a fualt has been detected in a monitored
sensor or solenoid used for transmission operation."

Are there any DTC set?
