hmmm... I wonder how much power that will make over the stock one. I would think it would be more pronounced the more air you try to pull through it. That would be sweet if my BBK intake would be suitable for it too, it would be nice to not have to sell the performance parts I have already bought to get a new one.

I've been running the Saleen SC for over two years with the stock TB and never had any issues with it. Dyno'd at 430 rwhp with 39lb injectors and a 3.6 pulley. Plenty of torque and power for a me as weekend cruiser.
From all that I read about the after market TB's especially the BBK's it can become a nightmare with trying to ajust some of them and keep them calibrated. Not saying all are that way but you don't know until you hang it off the end of the SC and try tuning for it. I would say with without a doubt that the Stock TB is good for well over 500 rwhp.Unless your building some monster block with real high boost stay with the stock TB. I follow most of the forums and especially anything to do with the Saleen SC and I can't remember many people upgrading the TB,only exception would to the modified GT500 TB a couple venders out there sell. I think JDM has a kit.

yeah, I have heard issues with the BBK TB even when added to a mostly stock vehicle, but with mine, if felt good when installed, and never ever gave me any crap. No CELs or anything like I have heard some complain. Oh well, I already have the TB, well see how it does if all goes through as I intend
