2nd gear burnout is just as easy as 1st, 1st gear is useless for me...
I'm sure I could rev it up more and get it. I'm inexperienced, I will admit it. Also, I bet you're running a lot more RWTQ then I am.

With basic bolt-ons and stock gears, you can get the tires plenty hot enough for your power level in first gear. Like I said, just make sure you see smoke for 5 seconds and then roll through it to get rid of any pieces of tire and finish heating. And definitely don't try shifting to 2nd during the burnout with the stock gears. I did that and the only smoke came from my clutch.

Here's the video from my last time at the track (well, I went one more time, but realized my clutch was fried when I couldn't get into 2nd gear).

On your first time out, just have fun! Eventually you'll get better at everything. But mainly, just get your burnout, stage (ask and watch if you dont know how), and take off at the right time....

Right. The first few times at the track, you forget about half what you read/heard because you're nervous and it goes so fast.
