Default Fly Wheel Question

Would anyone know if it is advantageous to install a aluminum fly wheel on a car set up for road racing???

Yes, but there's a pretty steep learning curve to driving one around town! If you have a lightweight d/s to compliment it your car will rev up much quicker and your removing a lot of weight.

If you asked my dad though, he hates them. Even though it spins up faster it can be slowed down much faster when engaging the clutch, so it's all in what you like.

That being said I won't trade mine til I swap to a different clutch/add more power.

Thanks for the info!
Did think it's a wise mod to make for a road and part time track car!

Thanks,

I just got my car back on the road yesterday, and running a 12lb fidanza. I dont think its really any different than driving with the stock one.

Stock d/s and running a 10.91, mods please. I would think the stock one is a safety issue at that point.
