PUT IT TO U THIS WAY... take the termi, and if in a year you don't like it change it back for an S197 , you probably wont lose money and end up with a newer s197 than you have now.

Termi termi termi termi termi termi termi termi TERMI!

HELLO ! Serious collector value, IRS, WAY more power potential, Its rare, it sounds incredible !!!!!!!!!

You would be a moron not to take the termi.
Or you could agree with the displacement guy.

Are you going to comment on what your plans are?

I have owned almost every Mustang available and I currently own 5 Mustangs. Two of which are a modded 07 GT and a bone stock 04 Cobra with less than 9K miles. Never in my life would I trade my modded 07 for my 04 Cobra. On the other hand it my 07 was stock I would do it in a heart beat. If you choose to get the Termi wheel hop is a major issue and Im going to jump out on a limb but Im going to have to guess if you modify it the issue would only get worse. The ride, power, handleing, comfort, eye appeal and adrinaline rush is much greater in my 07 than my Cobra. With that said I love both but my S197 takes the win!!!!!!!!

I guess you win usm...
Since you actually have both cars, your opinion will actually be more accurate than ours.
Assuming your GT is supercharged...

I think everyone who claims resale value on a cobra will go up is a crack smoker... the cars that have gained value in the past have been the best looking cars from their decade.. not just based on their engine. a GT500 I have no doubt will be collectible.. even if the mustang II was amazingly fast nobody will collect it because its ugly compared to the rest of the mustang years.

don't buy the cobra to collect it.. honestly.. I'd keep your car, whipple it (it will be faster than the stock termi by far at that point) eventually put a built block in it... get it to over 600rwhp.... and a whipple is about 6k.. a built block is about 5-6k.. not a huge expense to have a better looking car..

the other option is don't collect the cobra.. throw a better blower on it and some other upgrades and be in the hole for a little less than the built GT would be but not look as good.. probably be a bit faster though
you do know that our cars hold crappy value right? considering the termi isnt beat up on and has low mileage its still worth at least 25+. As far as power, Everyone is just saying whipple yours. Which is cool but think about it you can whipple the cobra and put at least 700hp to the wheels with little to none supporting mods. Try that with the gt and you will need supporting mods. but its really up to you.

remember though his has a stock cobra. stick a whipple on that and he probably wont say that the gt feels like it has more power. but like i said its all about what you like.

I'll be a liar to say that I have a lot of experience with both cars...
I test drove an 06 with the Whipple and a Terminator with a tune only (no pulley) and 4.10 gears.
The Cobra seemed faster to me...
Of course the guy with the Cobra could have lied and actually, have put more goodies on his car.
Some folks do that...

And you do realize that there are far, far more of them on the road right? That's one reason why. The other being the fact the Terminator was more expensive in the first place.
