No competition, your car hands down....You can make it easily as fast if you supercharge it, an sc'ed s197 is a common 11.7ish second car

GO with the termie, and don't look back. I regret everyday selling my 04GT and it was an Auto (full exhaust, and stalled).

Screwit. Just get rich like some of our members. Then buy both and mod the crap out of them.

I thought you get rich just to annoy a liberal

And swat79, a blown GT still falls short vs a termie
Unless you open the block and pump a bunch of money in the mill...

Even if the cobra is stock? haha i didn't mean if they were both modded, i thought he was gonna keep the cobra stock for the future value. I take back my post then, I would still prefer the newer models, but that's just my opinion.

Nuff said.... after thinking about it, cobra
Of course it is highly modified and any S197 with FI can do that too...(though it is a sweet vid)

Very important detail...

Also, your car has no miles on it. Though choice still.

I'd prolly go Termie, for value reasons alone. Once I made sure there isn't anything wrong with the car, of course.
Very valid point- I know they are out there but I am sure they are hard to find and I would wager to bet that they are beat on and heavily modded or 100% original so I would not want either as I would not drive the original (preserve value) and the "Modded" one you don't know what your getting......very tough decision

Terminator.

Reasons:

The power.

The mystique. Seeing the "C O B R A" on the back against the width of some fat rear meats kinda scares people.

The look. There's something about the sleek, low-slung Cobra look that makes people hide their children.

The sound. Just not the same with an S197.

The fact that you can get an S197 for the next decade, but Terminators are fading fast.

Don't take back your post man.
Your opinion is just as good as everybody else's.

A blown GT will have a slight edge on a stock Cobra, remember the S197 is heavier.
But you put a pulley and a tune on that Cobra and it's all over.
Actually, a 4.10 gears alone is all it would take

And thewarnachine, +1 on the sound of the Cobra. Hard to match that quad cam
