Tires rubbing

WTF!!!
The tire is worn out on both edges!
How the f*** do you do that?!?!
Did someone remount those inside out after the first wear?
People, you need to stop smocking crack!
There is no way this schit would happen to me...
I'd addressed that issue many tire threads ago!

How do you figure the size of the wheel has anything to do with this? The only way the wheel would have anything to do with this is because of the offset of the wheel.

Uh, low tire pressure for a few thousand miles??

I didn't have the tire remounted after it had been rubbing. The reason for the worn edges on both sides must be because the tire had been low for a while. I noticed it had a slow leak a couple of months ago, aired it back up (was at only 20psi). Noticed it had gotten low again, tried to air it back up and that is how this all started. Under inflation will cause excess wear on the outside of the tires, right? Anyway, I've ordered a new tire from tirerack.com. It should be here on Wednesday and will have the alignment checked. If it's not the alignment, then it must be because I didn't install the wheel stops right? The rubbing only takes place when I'm turning. I really appreciate all of your input. Thanks.

I would forget about the steering stops and invest in a GOOD
air pressure guage and a rubber band. Place the rubber band
around the pressure guage. Attach it to your keys. This will
help you to remember to check your air whenever you fill
up with gas and this wont happen again. And get those darn
slow leaks fixed whenever they are discovered. Thats not tire
rubbage but underinflation damage. Underinflation is what causes
blowouts from the sidewall flexing too much at high speeds and
the tire heats up and you have a sidewall blowout. It usually
happens at high sustained highway speeds when its the most
dangerous. Low/medium speed driving around town turning all
the time with low air pressures will scrubb all the rubber off
of the tire just like the pictures you posted shows.

I installed GT500 rims and tires on my V6 last week. I noticed that when I turn full left or right there is a rubbing noise. So I took it to the Ford dealership and they confirmed that the rims were rubbing the control arm. I brought up installing steering stops but they didnt know anything about that. But they did mention wheel spacers. Would spacers help out on this?
