H Pipe installed, sound questions

Yep rasp. SOunds loud and uncontrolled, very tinny at 2500rpm. THe H is still raspy-just LESS raspy than the X. I've used them both and you think the H is bad then an X would be terrible.

That's really interesting, maybe I just don't know what raspy sound you guys are talking about but I have had no weird noises, or raspy noises, or anything with my x pipe

See I'm running an on road BBK, I think the cats probably have something to do with it. Oh well, to all you guys bashing on X-pipes get oughta here!!! Skip to the 1:06 mark...

Haha. I'm not bashing X's. I used to run the bassani X both catted and O/R. It's the O/R X that is really raspy. The catted setup sounds great and is really smooth. Some mufflers are raspier than others with an O/R setups. The flows and other chambered mufflers are raspy without cats-the X worsens that!

maybe pick up some sound deadening material to helpout with the cabin noise
