Sorry to hear about your incident. Unfortunately, many other drivers are generally careless and irresponsible. Just be glad that the car can be fixed and that you have insurance to help you offset the cost.

Years ago my '87 GT was smashed while parked by a black and white in front of the courthouse where I used to work. The cop took off, but thankfully a hot dog vendor got the id number off of the car. The city paid the damages but it took a while to get them to reimburse my insurance company.
