Default Kaenen hood

I found a Kaenen GT500 hood for around $450 and I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of them before? Is that a good deal?

I know of a few Kaenen hoods, which one are you considering?pic?
Also, that is the going price for a new hood(unpainted).

This is the one I am considering. The funny thing is, I just had hood pins installed on my stock hood too :/

If you want it because you like the hood then go for it because it is a reasonable price.
If you are looking for a new hood and considering this one because of price, you shouldn't because IMO there are plenty of hoods out there for the same price.

What kind of front end do you have?

Check out www.trufiber.com

They have real cool product. I can help you if you need and they are for the most part, functional hoods.

If you like that style I'd personally pay a little more to get a Cervinis or Trufiber hood. Everyone knows those companies and they fit great plus they are functional scoops. I've heard of Kaenen once before but don't know anything about them. With Cervini and Trufiber you know you're getting a quality part.

If you just want a hood scoop for looks and don't care if it's functional just buy a stick on and save some money.
