I'm still being tempted by the Thumprs though. They tend to sound a little more rough but it seems that more people report MPG loss with those and a low end power loss. Not the case w/ FRPP. The Thumprs will be more expensive a little due to the limiters.
I wish I had a video but I don't know anyone with a decent video camera. Anyone in the Chandler, AZ area want to donate some time for the good of the board?

Okay, I've always wondered this about FRPP's cams, so sorry if this is a dumb question.

Being a Ford Racing part, a dealership would install these, correct? Well, if this is the case, how would they go about "tuning" them? Obviously, a dyno is recommended by most of you, but surely the Ford dealer wouldn't do that. Would they just be loading some generic tune to your car provided to them by Ford Racing or what?

Speaking of mileage, I hit 23mpg on the highway the other day. Not bad. And the upper rpm range these cams provide.... wow. I have my shift light set at 6500rpm and it pulls strong all the way up till the light flashes. That's my favorite part about the cam upgrade. I like the idle too but the upper rpm gain is where it's at.
Hey R ....how do you like your Autometer DPSS ShiFt Light on your '07.
I'm torn between the one you have (With adaptor) and a Raptor that dosn't need the adaptor..!! What made you decide...???

Dang Hamm, now you are going to install these again and I am going to get jealous. I had just talked myself out of getting them and now you will post up vids, and how great the car sounds, and I will have to add them back to the list .

Maybe I will save these for the celebration of paying the car off in 2.5years. (We will see if I can wait that long )

I am sure all the bugs will be worked out by then.

More and More I am thinking my street set-up should be. 8psi pulley, LT's, catted prochamber, violators, Alum D/S, tru-trac, 4.10's, Nitto 305/40/18 DR's, and these FRPP cams.

Damn my mod list just got alot longer and more expensive .

It's hit and miss whether a dealership will do it, and even bigger chance that they won't cover it under warranty. Ford says they don't "require" a tune but everyone knows that isn't true. I know that FRPP has a tuner that you can tune but its not a cheap route to tuning.

Here's the dyno charts:

http://i445.photobucket.com/albums/q...maro/dyno2.png

The first chart is a pull to 6000.
Second is a pull to 6500. The sharp drop at the end was him hitting the rev limiter.

It's the first and the 3rd pull. The second was the one where I got 317 from. Gained another 5 hp without even doing anything!
