I use my California Duster quite a bit (and of course I use Eagle One's Wipe and Shine daily).

I use the Cali duster and always have ICE and a microfiber towel to wipe it down with.
Also, putting the car cover on helps a ton.

What do you guys do to keep the pollen on your car to a minimum?
Im assuming you non daily drivers just leave it in the garage, but for us guys who actually use them, what can we do to keep the pollen off?

Ive heard a good wax will help by letting the pollen blow off easier, but i cant wax my bumper yet, and kinda wanted to do it all at once.

I tried a really soft, fluffy duster for dusting ceilings (on a 5 foot stick)
It worked ok, but i constantly had to shake it, or the polen would get left behind. The stick it was on was a ton of help for reaching more places without moving around so much.

Any solutions??
I have a couple of effective solutions.

1. Move to a different state.
2. Buy car-sized ziplock bags, if you can find any.....and park your car in it after you wash it. You should be pollen free.

Other than that...you'll just have to live with it.

If the pollen is too much for the duster, try a cap full of Optimum No Rinse car wash in a bucket of water and wipe down using a microfiber towel. (use a second bucket for the rinse if you have serious pollen) It is quicker than a full wash but does less harm than the duster.

Move to south Eastern Michigan where the condition of the roads is so frightening that pollen although annoying, is not actually breaking your suspensions and rims. The roads are so straight here, with so many stop signs it's like being in "driving church". Erik

perhaps invest in 10-20 of those butterfly farms for kids on tv, or buy some wholesale honey bee's

i know what you are talking about, but sense i live in California, I don't have love bugs or major pollen... though we do get them little pollen dots from bees. Back home in missouri my moms car is also pollen coated in the spring/summer
