Default And the pollen is here...

Starting to see all the cars turn a light shade of yellow
What do you guys do to keep the pollen on your car to a minimum?
Im assuming you non daily drivers just leave it in the garage, but for us guys who actually use them, what can we do to keep the pollen off?

Ive heard a good wax will help by letting the pollen blow off easier, but i cant wax my bumper yet, and kinda wanted to do it all at once.

I tried a really soft, fluffy duster for dusting ceilings (on a 5 foot stick)
It worked ok, but i constantly had to shake it, or the polen would get left behind. The stick it was on was a ton of help for reaching more places without moving around so much.

Any solutions??

it sucks bro, but you have already done the only options I know of, besides microfiber cloth and spray some instant detailer on the cloth and wipe, turning the cloth often. we fought it all weekend at the show in p-cola.

dude I think I have more pollen laying in my yard than some of you guys have snow. I mean it comes up over your shoes in some places. Its baaaaad. I keep my car under a car port but the rear still gets that hazy yellow. Just wash it every couple of days and you will be ok. If you let it build up it gets really bad. If you keep it off (mostly) then it looks better longer.

i gotta say the pollen here in FL is really frustrating. i dont have a garage so the combination of morning dew and the pollen leaves this layer of filth on the car after just one morning. Even with the car covered it still gets dirty.

Ive resorted to wiping her down everytime i drive her.

i use my california duster about every evening before i leave work. as it gets worse here in tn, i am glad i work at a dealer and have 3 pressure washers in a bay out back. i spray her off about every 2 days right before i leave and wind dry her on the interstate ride home. seems to work well.

And as if the pollen in Florida isn't bad enough, Get ready for the first round of LOVE BUGS. They come out twice a year and they are already hatching.

+1 for the california duster. I use it to dust the pollen off and it works great.
