Default Plunk, plunk pop sounds from rear suspension

Decided to finally attempt lowering the car w/ a 4'' driveshaft. I've been through two different spring setups in the last two weeks. I'm now hearing pop, pop, and thunking sounds from my rear suspension. Almost sounds like suspension loading/binding then a pop. It CANT be the rear shocks, I've tightened them both up with the car loaded and non-loaded. Can't be the rear swaybar, I've also tightened it down with the suspension loaded/unloaded and tested. The springs.. two different brands and mounted them correctly. Has to be either LCA's, upper CA or driveshaft. Any suggestions? I'm hoping it's not the driveshaft but worried that it is. Unless I need to dismount/realase the LCA's or upper CA and retighten with the new lowered suspension. Clueless at this point.

I've also heard the noise while just cruising along with no suspension movement, which leads me to beleive it may be driveshaft issue.

Do you get the pop, pop when you go over a crack in the pavement? If so, check the bushing on your LCAs. That may be an issue if they are busted.

My spohn rear swaybar make a clunking noise on the spare tire area after I put lca relocation brackets on. Funny things happen when you change parts & geometry. Crawl under & check how much clearance you have between swaybar & trunk. Just make sure the suspension is loaded when you check. I put stock swaybar back on and all is good.

Thanks for the responses guys. It's definitely going to be either control arm or panhard related. My aftermarket panhard just shipped and is scheduled for arrival on the 27th. I looked at the factory panhard brace while under the car tonight and that puppy is TORQUED! If it was ever straight, it's not now lol. I think my problem is with panhard adjustment.... I'll just have to deal with the noise until I get it straightened out. At least I can drive around knowing it's not something that will explode or anything.

It's a pop, pop at different times throughout the suspension travel. Sometimes even when you're not in suspension travel.. it's odd. I installed the new rear springs tonight and it's not as bad... a pop, pop when you're either accel or decel. I'd heard the noise even when the suspension was completely stock... but only when reversing trying to get into traffic and out quickly. so it's not suspension related but mod or just factory defect related. May be driveshaft, may be factory defect like CA bushings, etc.

I'll figure out what the problem is and post up here to "help a brother out". I think it's going to cost me a pretty penny once again lol..
