For the record, I'm Craig, April's husband. I wasn't aware you were waiting to hear back from her, but I'm not surprised. She acted like I was stupid when I went to install the handle and said it wouldn't work with our shifter. But I'm on it like ugly on an ape and will have her contact you.

I was referring to being stuck with the ugly stock shifter handle, not the imitator. I love the handle you're selling and I'm bummed it didn't work with our shifter. I hope you're able to figure something out. I think that black boot with yellow stitching would be awesome. We've found that it's those little details that people zone in on. We've got over $20,000 worth of mods on the car and people always fixate on the friggin' airbrushed pony logo on the grille that we got for free. Go figure.

LOL! Is'nt funny how people manage to do that? On you Imitator, I'm sure Charlie can figure out how to fit it and then you can ditch that ugly stock shifter

Craig & Charlie, if you can't figure out how to mod that shifter to get it to work I will send you my spare shifter arm if you think you could use it to replace the one you have now. Just let me know

I understand that it can use some tweaking, but why is it deemed "rice" looking? Because it's not a manual shifter? I guess this looks rice as well:

Maybe people just want the look of the boot instead of the regular stock handle. If it looked like the Lexus' one it'd be sweeter

Finally got some shots of my shifter. Charley installed it on my car last Friday. I really like the way it operates and the way it looks. I'm glad I went with the red stitching. It matches the rest of my red accents. I am going to want to do the tucked style in the near future though. Thanks Charley.

Just curious but how did you guys connect the overdrive wires?

How 2 connect OD wires:

1. Once your T-handle is removed you will see the 2 white wires connected to the small white plug.

2. Using a pair of wire cuts, cut the small plug off leaving at least 1" of wire from the back of the plug hanging out.

3. Strip the end of those 2 wires hanging out of the plug about 1/8"

4. Using the provide wire connectors, place the striped wire ends into one side and crimp it down so the wire will not slip out.

5. Place the pre-stiped ends of the new OD button into the other end of the wire connectors and crimp them down.

I actually find there is not much room for the wire connectors so i twist them together and tape now. Those are nice pics Jack, Glad you like it.I think we should tuck it in at a later date for sure. BTW, i probably won't be at the meeting tomorrow.
