Assuming the note was from this guy?(blk281gt) Hope you like the new shifter and post up pics when installed!
HAHA, you have me a little "gun shy" i guess. No really, i do not want break any rules on any forum and i appreciate everyones input whether you like it or not.I was not expecting to come out with a product that everyone would like as there are many mods i am not partial to also. Just wish i had more time to post more so i can get things moving,LOL!

Here are some videos of the install from BLK281GT. Seems like it is a really simple installation and works great.

I haven't got out to see it yet but I love the way it operates. The next nice day I can uncover the car.

As many know there is more then one way to sell on this forum and thats thru PM's after you show someone what you have in a thread very much like this one. I am not against it and any member knows that they are in NO WAY protected by the forum and that is the only drawback to selling for free on here as opposed to Flea bay or something similar. This is yet another reason why we wont let new members that don't meet the rules of the forum (50 posts and 30 days) so it lessens the chance of the forum members getting ripped off from a internet scam. Not saying that you had any intention of that but you get the point. It helps to foster contributing members and site activity and draw your attention to those that do pay to advertise and sell on the fourm and that is our sponsors.

Anyway I wont bore you and loved the vids! thanks for posting Hootna...the shifter is sweet too!

I really like the way this operates, but the boot has got to go. I would love to see a second generation that’s not covered up but cleaned up. It seems like with a little dress up this could be made to look really cool. While the TCI may not be the most beautiful thing in the world, it beats the looks of that boot IMHO.

This is why I love mustangforums, you learn something new everyday Up until now I thought the only way to do that a was to have a bodywork guy fabricate a custom made one for auto drivers.

Awesome! I was lookin to do the same thing but this has saved me the trouble. I think the boot can be made to look better by attaching it on the inside of the indicator rather than the outside of the shifter trim if that makes sense. Would of course be alittle more difficult to do but then the indicator would still be visible and the boot smaller.

and some pics somebody else was askin for of the shifter with everything removed. Replacing the whole shaft looks to be alot of work.

The install doesn't look like it would be too difficult. The seller has detailed instructions available, just drop him a PM.

I think this shifter would look great with a billet shifter bezel, plus with that on there I don't think the boot would look as baggy. Hmm...
