i have the duplicolor kit in black sitting here thinking about doing it finally but can't decide on the black or red. i think i want to do them black and have a feeling the red will fade and turn pink over time.... i'll make sure to prep the caliper real good before i do this to make sure it holds over time without chipping

I painted mine black with the duplicolor kit and I'm sad to say a year later they are chipping really badly. I cleaned them (what I thought) was well with a toothbrush and dawn and then the caliper cleaner spray. Apparently that wasn't well enough though.

I love the look of the black but I'm not excited to paint them again.
