Default G-Tech Pro

I live 1700 km (1100 miles) from the nearest dragstrip so I got my hands on a G-Tech, took it out for a few runs last night... almost stock 07 GT 'Vert, for a baseline before I put all the goodies I have coming in or on the car, I only did a few runs, as I haven't put insurance on the car this season yet...

The first run spun alot, I didn't catch the 60' (if it even measures that?), and after reading most of the book, the HP and 1/4 mile techniques are different so the HP figure would be off... but it ran a 13.89 @ 105.xx mph... I could have spent some time figuring out how to drive the thing, but it was late and I decided to take it home before the dog catchers (local cops) showed up.

My question is what do people think about these G-Tech Performance meters?

I also have a whole truck load of stuff coming including a WMS Ram Air Intake & 95mm MAF, SCT X3 Tuner, Bassani Catted-X, 3.73s, Foose Whees & Nitto Tires, Lowering Springs, Control Arms, Lightbar, Agent 47s, etc... I am sure I forgot some stuff, but I am looking forward to it all... I put in a Pro5.0 Shifter last night, what a difference... I am impressed so far.... anyways, just wondering what people think about the G-Techs, are they accurate?

they work well. I have tested mine at the dragstrip - it is close on ET. Usually off by a tenth or so. The trap speeds are high usually and forget about the HP reading. However for ET it is pretty good tool for comparison when making mods.
