Default Lower and upper control arms?

I'm in the market for some LCA's and a UCA. I plan to get adjustable LCA's since I'm lowered but not quite sure about the UCA. Should I get solid ones or have it adjustable too? What does everyone have? The only suspension mods I've done so far are springs and a Spohn adjustable panhard bar.

There is a thread here https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...trol-arms.html on this exact same topic

Ok...I read somewhere that you only need adjustability in either the LCA's or UCA but not both. I guess I'll just get a solid UCA with adjustable LCA's. I also want to change out the stock bushing in the upper control arm housing for a poly one...heard that's a beotch to change so I might have a shop do it for me.

I believe that is correct, you will need an adjustable LCA's with a lowered car, you should only need the UCA if you want to change your pinion angle.

i went with billet LCAs with welded relocation brackets and an adjustable UCA to correct pinion angle. This is a bit pricier but IMO give you the best result.

I really hope I don't have any issues since I am not welding them in place... :/

I would strongly suggest getting them welded in, especially with the SC getting installed.

Do you think an extra hour should be enough for the weld? I need to figure out how much extra it would be for the performance shop (they are doing LCAs and the relo).

I dont think it would take an hour to weld some reloc brackets. 10 mins.

Im getting my h pipe and reloc brackets welded here pretty soon, and i would be surprised if he charged me over $20-30.

I personally would go with solid LCA's and an ajustable UCA for best resaults.
I dont think you would need those brackets welded unless you 60' is 1.5 or lower.
