Question about stock Pirelli P Zero Nero tires

I never heard this complaint before and it didn't affect my car either. I put on maybe 10K miles before upgrading to Black Bullits with Goodyear Eagle F1s. Of course my Boomtubes pretty much drowned out any other sounds.
