2 reasons.

1. no need to change for kooks. they do not rub or interfere.
2. extra vibration on the DD.

I didnt read this whole thread... but I'm just north of Houston (in conroe) and have an 05 with kooks catted lts, x pipe, and the ford racing stingers. Sounds pretty damn good to me. I get a slight bit of resonance at around 1700 rpm or so though. If anyone is debating getting this set up and wants to hear my car, let me know.

Thanks for the link VASMAN. Congratulations, too!
I'm super jealous. Now having completed the install, do you think the job would be any easier for a set of Shorties or same scenario? Header install sounds do-able, just a PITA....

Yeah man sounds good. I generally shoot at gun emporium on 2854. Havent been to creekwood yet. Is it nice? But yeah man, if you're going to be in the area, let me know. I'd like to get a ride with you to see how those 4.10s are.

I live in spring, and I would like to hear H vs X for sure! I am debating getting long tubes right now so this would be an amazing comparison and I would be able to tell right off the bat which one might be better for me.
