WHOOAA!!! how the heck did this poking fun get outta hand. I guess working technical issues on deploying Army helicopters everyday causes me to look closely at terminology. When i used the word "you" i wasn't singling out anyone on this forum.

I have fondled many many cars over 35 years... and I call them Rims too! and sometimes call them wheels. Wheels in fact are "Stock" ugly *** painted things that come on cheap cars. Rims are the things you pay big money for so your car looks cool . HAHA

Some people even use "Hub Caps" for those fake riims people stick on their cars so we have "Frisby Style" entertainment on the highway.

Now... just so you know... if the Hub Cap has a giant hole in the middle of it.. we referr to those as Rings.

If the rim has a giant hole in it - - ya broke something.

If the rim has lights in it.. or spins when sitting at stop lights - - it doesn't belong on a Mustang!

It's all good, huff...hard to tell the difference between good-natured fun-poking and personal attacks sometimes on the net. I guess being a former military guy and current computer geek makes me a bit pedantic as well. I was just kind of like, "[sm=WTFsgign.gif] I'm 40 and into performance mods not bling, where is this boy racer stuff coming from?"
