Default Any issues?

I'm planning to remove the spoiler from the rear of my GT (as mine was a spec ordered import to the UK) - am I correct in thinking that the spoiler is actually just for show on the GT and has little effect, meaning I won't actually miss it?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I wouldn't worry much about the functionality of the spoiler as much as the holes that are left when you remove it.

Yes it will leave holes. Find a mustang with the same color at a dealership and swap trunks, that's the only way. Doesn't matter if it is a GT or V6, the seal on the back can be switched.

i found some black thin round plugs in the Help section at AZ and Advance for $1.99. they have the serrated tips. insert them in the holes and seal inside with clear silicone. on a mineral grey they will be hard to see. i painted them silver on my satin silver. they are visible only when walking right up to the trunk and look for them. no one noticed them unless they were pointed out.
