The advice in this thread Fails hard.

To the op, although it's most likely there was no additional damage done, your inexperience (the fact you would put the jack in such a place and not already know where a Jack SHOULD go) tells me you should go to a service center or repair shop to have things double checked and even had your car towed to have it inspected. Period.

Internet diagnosing can be hard enough for an experienced person but can be near impossible for an inexperienced one. You could be leaving out vital information or worse, overlook a detail because you didn't know to look for it and therefore didn't convey it to us.

Next time, have someone with more experience to help you so you can avoid simple mistake that could cause serious problems and learn the correct way to do things. Fuel + Spark = fire. Brake pads + Fluid = no brakes, therefore, when working on anything related to these systems, if you don't know what you're doing, have someone help you so you can learn the proper way to work on them. Otherwise you put yourself and potentially others at risk.

I forgot about this post. Still one of the funniest things I've read. I'll read it again, all the sarcasm makes you fall off of your seat.
