Spark Plugs

RE: Spark Plugs
I talked with my co-worker today and expressed comments sayed. Now what is the difference with spark in race bikes versus the motors in our cars. He said that it was a common thing for them to do this at their race shop in England when they were developing race bikes with 500 rwhp. Im not saying that I am going to do this, I am just trying to learn all I can (knowledge). Thanks

I read in a 5.0 Mustang last month that by regapping our stock plugs free'd up 8HP or something like that. I will try and find the article again and give you exact references.

From wiz's spark plugs explained
"One thing to keep in mind with respect to performance claims is that no spark plug creates horsepower out of thin air. A special electrode configuration can reduce misfiring and the voltage needed to fire the plugs. But the spark only ignites what is already in the combustion chamber. If there are any power gains to be had, they will be the result of reduced misfires and nothing else."

RE: Spark Plugs
doesn’t reduced misfires and more fuel that is ignited equates to more hp?
The fuel air mixture available in the combustion chamber either ignites or it doesn't.
If its not misfiring different plugs wont help.
