The FRPP CAI & tune is nice but does not typically provide the performance of the tunes written by Brenspeed, Bama and VMP.

As far as the warranty, you need to educate yourself. Use the search feature. Although they can't deny you warranty work unless they can prove that the CAI & tune were responsible for the failure, the dealer will intimidate most wusses. I've had my Stang back to the dealer for minor warranty work and not once removed the custom tune and CAI. They've only said "Great looking intake" and never gave me any grief.

I spoke with my local Ford service department about CAI, since I'm thinking about getting one soon. They said, "Since you bought it here, we don't care about it". They said people have them all the time, and they don't give it any notice. I am not worried about the warranty issue at all.

Oh, and I personally like the Bullitt CAI look also. I like the way it looks understated and fits in the engine compartment. I will be ordering one from Brenspeed with their tunes hopefully soon.

considering the 2 options, i would go for the Bullitt CAI/tune. i wouldnt do the shaker bc it is a lot of work, but not much performance gains over the CAI. i personally would go for a JLT instead, bc its easy to install and gets as much hp/tq as other top of the line CAI. if you have a question about warranty issues, you should ask the dealer where you would be taking it and see what they say, but for me the warranty went out the window a long time ago, having fun in the GT is worth more to me than the warranty!
