they're okay. Think I personally will use a different tire when it's time though. I like Goodyear truck tires...but their car tires leave alot of room for improvement IMO

that is the size for the GT500 front tires.

I am running the same tires in 255/45/18 that I got for a deal. I have maybe 12k miles on them, and they are completely out of tread in the center (badly cupped). I'm trying Sumitomo or Nexen or Federal next.....at least they are cheap.

BTW, the Supercars come in two types, I think. One is a low treadwear version, and then there is the high-end version costing about 300 per tire.

My sumitomo's will not die. 24K on them (hard driving) and still kicking. My Nitto's out back are the same deal. Can't go wrong with either.

To the OP, at that price if they only last 20K then you got a great deal. Plus if you keep them rotated you should have good luck with them.

read the reviews. i wouldn't buy those tires even at that price. they are rated 20th in their category.

goodyear re-designed them (softer/grippier compound) for the 2010 gt500.

I'm actually happy with my F1's I went staggard and for the way I drive, and with road course racing they are doing pretty well wear wise even without being able to rotate.

The cheaper of the 2 are the longer treadwear rated ones.
220 vs 180
The others are I believe the OE on the GT500 SuperSnake or KR
Looking at the tires you cannot tell the difference.

I dont go by mileage, I go by seasons, lol. 2 summers with a day of racing is about what I will see out of them. I am not nice to my tires, lol.
I get them at cost, and below cost because I buy when there is rebates on them.

rebates starts Aug 15th if you can hold out. oops, you ordered already.

Wow, they went down even more since I got mine, down to 107
and 143 for the 285/40/18's

I ran the F1 GS D3's, really grippy tire, even in the rain stuck like glue, but twice the price, and not offered in the 285/40/18 when I went Staggard.
They did get some choppy wear on the edges, I rotated front to back regularly.

I'd run another set of Kumho ESCPT first. My last set of those Goodyears lasted 2 months. I'm not easy on tires.

My Kumho tires were about $150/tire installed and extremely grippy when dry. Slicker than owl **** when wet though.

Really need to wear out these BFG's I currently have. 235 width is ridiculous. I gunned it in 2nd tonight on a Highway merge ramp and the damn things broke loose.
