My 07 GT Automatic When cold and stopped revs up on its own; feels like it wants to take off all by its self. Didn’t think must of it until in choked and turned off on me; any thoughts on what may be Happening ?

probably your TPS Throttle position sensor

the newer mustangs use an electronic throttle sensor as apposed to the simple cable.

my dads just went out it was a few hundred to get it done because you have to order a whole new throttle body with sensor on it

try resetting your throttle. I forget the proper method but i think you turn the key to on, wait 6 seconds, then push the throttle to the floor slowly for 6 seconds, then let it out, wait 6 seconds and crank it up.
