Default ***** Thumpr Cams, After install ?'s

#1
Ok so i've just got done installing the ***** Thumprs from Brenspeed with charge motion delete plates. After the install the car runs good and no errors are being seen, but once i shut the car off and turn the car back on I get the PO345 error. I can clear the error and its run and act fine, just always comes back after shutting off the car. If just cruising around town and I turn on the AC it will act like it wants to kill but once i turn the AC off it will regain the power also.

Also would like ppl to post there exhaust setup clips with there ***** Thumpr cams. I've had them in for a day and already have a fix it ticket for normal cruising LOL My setup right now is factory headers, Pypes O/R H-Pipe, and SLP Loudmouths

List of mods so far: C/L CAI, ***** Thumprs, charge motion delete plates, and exhaust setup mentioned above

I will be installing 3.73 gears in the next week or so to help with the low end power loss.

1. No idea sorry
2. No wonder you got a fix it ticket. You are running straight pipe. Put a muffler or a set of cats on. You are lucky that the cop didn't look under your car. My buddy almost got his car impounded because of no cats. He had to pay the cop off.

Yea i new i would probably get a ticket, but couldn't hold off not driving it till i figured out what exhaust would sound the best. If i can find an axleback that will tone it down but keep the deep sound of the cams that would be the one i want. The cop that pulled me over had a Nova drag car and he said when i drove past him it sounded like his car. I don't think i ever went over 2000 RPM's the whole time i was in town.

#1 I had the same problem with my cams, I also have the ***** tumpr, all I did was raise the idle a bit, I think my idle is set to around 950-1000 rpms that stopped any stalling problems
#2 here is mine idling before I got mufflers, this is with SLP longtube headers, catted x-pipe, and slp loud mouths, I will try to get a video tomorrow of it idling with the mufflers I have now
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPFz_0QtkJU
I guess I've been lucky because I ran without mufflers for almost 8 months and never got a fix it ticket

Yes straight pipes with cams is INSANE!!! What do you guys have your Neutral RPMS and Drive RPMS set at. I placed them both down to 750 as low as the tuner would allow me to, but that was with the straight pipes so i'm sure bumping them back up to 950 wouldn't be as bad now. Have any of you heard bout that error code i'm throwing when i have the car off for a while and then start it back up??? Just want to make sure its nothing serious before i go on any long trips.

I would like to keep my Pypes O/R H-pipe and just find a good axle back that keeps a good deep tone but has a little more volume to it than the factory mufflers I put back on.

I believe I figured out the code, its the Camshaft Position Sensor on the passenger side. Just need 2 figure out if the sensor is bad, which i've been told is rare, not installed and positioned back right on re-install, or if I have interference from possibly a bad Alternator.

Its an 06 with only 34K miles so I wouldn't think its the alternator??
