Does anybody know where the cheapest place to get an alternator is? I may need to get a new one when I get home. I am out of town and my wife tells me that my car wont start. She jumped it with her dad and they drove it around and went back to start it again and it was dead. It's only been sitting a few weeks.

I hope it is just the battery but am looking to see what an alternator will cost just in case.
