I replaced mine with a white Ol'skool type hurst ball. It was pretty hard to unscrew as Ford usd some sort of loc-tite stuff on the ball threads. But it did come off and the new ball looks awesome:
I have the Premier Interior with a white stripe down the center of the seats..so it contrasts that nicely!

Hmmm, that white ball really does look excellent with the white stripe interior, I unfortunately opted to get the plain black seats (I changed my mind later but it was too late) so I think the chrome ball would look nicer.
